Refund policy
At Redwood Garage, we aim to provide quality automotive parts and clear, reliable service. Please review our return and exchange policy below before placing an order.
Eligibility for Returns
Returns or exchanges are accepted within 14 days of pickup or delivery, provided that:
- The item is unused, uninstalled, and in its original condition
- The item is returned in its original packaging
- The item has not been damaged, modified, or altered
- Proof of purchase is provided
Automotive parts that have been installed, attempted to be installed, or show signs of use are not eligible for return.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:
- Installed or used parts
- Electrical components
- Special order or custom parts
- Clearance or final sale items
- Items damaged due to improper installation or handling
Inspection & Approval
All returned items are subject to inspection upon receipt. Approval of a return or exchange is at the discretion of Redwood Garage. Items that do not meet the eligibility criteria may be refused or returned to the customer.
Refunds
Approved refunds will be issued to the original method of payment. Please note:
- Original shipping or handling fees are non-refundable
- Refunds are processed after the returned item has been inspected and approved
- Processing times may vary depending on the payment method
Exchanges
If an exchange is approved, the replacement item will be provided subject to availability. Any price differences will be adjusted accordingly.
Warehouse Pickup Returns
For orders picked up at our Chicago warehouse, returns must be arranged in advance. Please contact us to schedule a return appointment before bringing items back to the warehouse.
Return Shipping
Unless the return is due to an error on our part, customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as Redwood Garage is not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.
